Frequently Asked Questions
Parties
How much time do we have to set up and pack up?
You can arrive 30 minutes prior to your party start time to setup and you have 15 minutes to clear away any decorations and presents once the party is finished. Please note that we do require guests to leave at the end of the party not in the pack up time.

Are we able to heat up food?
Yes! We have an oven available in our small kitchen to heat up food. We also have a fridge, baking trays, baking paper and tongs to use if required. As it is a small kitchen and we will also be using the kitchen during the party, we just ask that only 1 designated person is accessing the kitchen.
Do you have tables for food?
We have seven square tables that you can arrange how you please. A popular set up is using three tables pushed together for the food, two tables pushed together for presents and the remaining for guests to sit at. We also have 22 adult chairs and 3 children's tables and bench seats.
What ages count towards the guest count?
Our messy play is suitable and quite enjoyed by children aged 9 months (or pulling to stand) to 12 years. We ask that all children in this age range are included in the guest count.
Can you do a custom theme?
We absolutely can do a custom theme, however due to the additional preparation and sourcing of different materials there is an added cost. Please discuss with Sarah to determine the cost.
Do you provide plates & cups?
No sorry, we don't currently provide plates, cups & cutlery. We do provide: matches, cake knife, glad wrap, detergent, baking paper, baking trays, tongs, rubbish bags.
When do I let you know final guest numbers?
We require final guest numbers 7 days prior to the party date, we will then send through the final invoice which is also due 7 days prior to the party date.
Do you include any nuts, eggs or dairy in the messy play?
No we do not include any products with nuts, eggs or dairy. Please note however that it is not a nut, egg or dairy free venue. We sell coffee and during our weekday sessions children are free to bring in their lunchboxes. Despite frequent cleaning we cannot guarantee that there are no traces of the above in our space.
